Financial Aid/Scholarship

Although Self Finance Colleges are not required to provide financial aid to students in B.Ed. programme, but K. L. College of Education provides financial help to needy students. Application deadlines may affect the kinds of aid you will be able to receive. Because so many variables are involved, it is necessary to go through the entire application process in order to know if you qualify for financial aid. Haryana Govt. provides Scholarships to SC/ST/BC Candidates who are currently enrolled in this college.

Types of Financial Aid

Financial aid is available to eligible degree-seeking students on this campus; however, the types and amounts of aid and the eligibility criteria vary greatly. There is provision of scholarships for poor as well as talented students. Our institution provide two types of scholarships:

• Merit Scholarships: This is the financial aid for which financial need is not used to determine the recipient. The recipient may be determined by students' athletic, academic, artistic, teaching or other abilities. The actual monetary value of scholarship may be negligible, the scholarship being meant to motivate the student and promote the study of the subject.
• Need Based :This is financial aid for which the student and family’s financial situation is a primary factor in determining the recipient. Usually such scholarship will cover all or part of the tuition

The following Scholarship Schemes are provided by State and Central Government

• Scholarship scheme to the schedule caste students: This scholarship is provided to the Schedule Caste and Schedule tribe students having annual income or parents or guardian must not exceed Rs. 2,00,000.
• Scholarship scheme to the Other Backward Class students: - For this scholarship the student must belong to backward class and the annual income of parents/guardian must not exceed Rs. 1,00,000.
• Scholarship for Minority Community: - This post matric scholarship is centrally sponsored scheme. In this scheme scholarships are awarded to the meritorious students from notified minority communities. The annual income of parents/guardians of such students should not exceed Rs. 2,00,000/-

Eligibility for Financial Aid

• You must be a Haryana resident.
• You must be a regular student of a recognised institution.
• You must have passed the qualifying Examination.
• You must be working towards B.Ed. degree.
• You must have SC/ST/BC Category certificate issued by Haryana Government.
• You must have an income certificate issued by the Executive Magistrate of your District.
• You must have an account in a nationalised Bank and that should be linked to your ADHAR CARD

ScholarshipsApplication for Financial Aid :-Fill out the Free Application of Scholarship from the college office after taking admission up to month of Oct.

Notification of Award

Once your financial aid application and all requested information has been received and processed, your scholarship/ financial aid will be transferred in your bank account
