After two months of planning and preparation the K.L. College of Education is opening a Curriculum Laboratory. A collaborative panel of both faculty and students worked toward the goal of creating a lab that would meet and exceed the needs of the College as required by NCTE in New Norms. The result is a central location that combines the qualities of a materials center, mini-library, and idea center.The Curriculum Laboratory is a center for instructional materials in teacher education. It is designed for students and teachers in the professional core courses in education, the specialized professional courses, student teaching, and the required activities related to student teaching.
The Curriculum Lab’s number one goal is to keep up-to-date and to provide students with the materials and equipment they need to be the teachers they want to be. Your suggestions are always welcome.We ask that each student sign in when they enter the lab, even if the visit is only for a brief period of time. By providing proof of the lab’s use and importance, we can continue to provide services and remain in operation.When in the lab, remember to check the bulletin board for current information on field-related lectures, classes, and general education information
Faculty requiring use of the laboratory for a class lecture should consult the Professor In-charge about first come availability. All other uses are considered Orientation by the lab staff or Workshop (when a professor wishes for their class to use material or equipment within the confines of the facility
The diverse material found here, support instruction in professional development and teacher education of undergraduate, graduate students of the College of Education. These are in both print and non-print format. Education Faculty uses the Laboratory which also houses the SMART Classroom facility, for teaching and demonstrations on electronic pedagogy to student teachers.

In COE we have a wide variety of enrichment activities, selected to enhance your programme of studies at the College. Some of these activities will take place within your main programme ie. educational trips, visiting speakers, and relevant to the subject you are studying. Other activities are available which are open to all students so that you are able to participate in new and exciting activities, develop personal skills, make new friends and gain valuable additional qualifications. This programme of enrichment activities is called ‘XTRA Curricular' and we encourage all students to get involved with at least one of the activities available
Every year we aim to provide activities which: Challenge you and get you thinking more deeply about issues Keep you fit and develop new skills Give you the opportunity to be creative and learn something new Let you have fun and put something back into the local community Help with your progression onto a career. These activities may vary from year to year according to student demand but have recently included: Your Progress Tutor will assist you in your choice and also check on your progress throughout the year. K.L. College of Education, B.Ed. embodies the spirit of collectivism and collaboration to create an institution of excellence. The college is recognised by NCTE Jaipur and affiliated to M.D.University Rohtak. It was a dream dreamt by the visionary Freedom Fighter Sh. KanhiyaLalYadav who fought for India’s Freedom in the leadership of Sh. SubhashChander Bose in Indian National Army in Freedom Movement. He also worked for the cause of his fellow worker as a President and General Secretary of The Delhi Private Motor Union.
